Inspire Me Monday

so enjoy Sunday afternoons. It is the one afternoon that is low key – no worries of business calls or customers stopping in; no school or kids to run after; the upbeatness after church. We are all home. I usually get in an afternoon nap. Kids watch a movie. I usually do not blog on Sunday and there’s one of my favorite websites to visit. Pinterest! 🙂 There’s just always fun ideas for crafts, recipes and styles, and even great encouragements (such as quote below).

Last week at our local Coffee House, I noticed that there were some knitted rope scarves. I really liked them. So just doing some checking on Pinterest, it was easy to find them and to find out they are easy to make, was even better! Most of these types of rope scarves are made by knitting on 3 or 4 fingers. So, I got started . . . took my nap half-way through, and finished it up. So in a matter of a couple of hours I had quite a lengthy rope scarf from a whole skein of yarn. I think this could be addictive! Better yet, it’s so easy, that I know my girls will pick up on it quickly. There just may be less of my knitting needles going missing or unmatched sets! 🙂 BUT, then again, more yarn will be missing!
