ur family owned and operated a pet shop for well over ten years. After our son’s death, it was just to difficult to continue, as he was a very big part of it. Also, the economy was going downhill quickly, and puppies were not adopting out quickly. The thing that made our pet shop unique is that we took in unwanted litters, mainly mixed breeds, and placed them up for adoption. Through the years we placed well over a thousand puppies.
Check out this website of a place located in Australia where one can list and sell litters of puppies for only $9 and also find a puppy or dog to adopt. They do not allow postings from puppy farms and warn that that their “team of bloodhounds sniff through every listing.”
The website is very professional looking with a scrolling list of puppies available to adopt, along with pertinent information from the cost, to age, when pups are available to adopt, what genders available. The picture posted here is a Chocolate Labradoodle that is available. I’d so like this one!
The website also gives great tips, even for watching for scams and warn to NOT use Western Union to pay or be cautious of e-mails that vary greatly in writing styles. They also have a Facebook page where there’s lots of pictures of puppies available to adopt!
