Information Article: Malibu Golf Club

A

s I look out the window with a blanket of white snow covering the lawn and ice falling off the trees from our recent ice storm, warm weather and green grass seems so very inviting. Though I am not much of a golfer, this Malibu Golf Club appears as an emerald gem in the majestic, rolling hills of the Santa Monica Mountains. It is only 45 minutes from Los Angeles and only a few miles from the Pacific coast.  I’ve enjoyed looking at the breath-taking pictures on-line.  No wonder weddings take place here too!

For many, this 18 hole champion golf course with a 6614 yard William Francis Bell design would be very enticing. What appeals to me is just going along for the ride while the my husband and kids golf.  I will just watch, relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery and take lots of pictures.  And if we’d go to this golf course as a family, at least for this winter, from December 16, 2013 through January 31, 2014 Malibu Golf Course is offering for students, elementary grades through high school, FREE golf and the cart fee is waived.  All that is needed is a student I.D!

Then, finishing off the day at the Malibu & Vine Dining located right at the Malibu Golf Club sounds like a perfect way to end the day.  It has been voted as one of the Best Restaurants in Malibu and it overlooks the golf course.

Doesn’t this sound and look like a dream!  It’s not!  Check them out on Facebook for more great specials!
