Learning about Vitamins, Herbs and Natural Products

I

enjoy learning about various health concerns and what naturally helps better our health.  What I find interesting is how so often other countries are so much further ahead of us, and spell things out a lot more without all the legal concerns of making false concerns of what the products can do. fruit I’ve been looking at YourPharmacy in New Zealand.  Garcinia Cambogia is something I’ve seen a lot of advertisements for lately and seems to be the new trend in weight loss.  I did not know that it comes from a fruit that grows in Indonesia, India and Southeast Asia and West and Central Africa.  Some use the fruit for curing and preserving fish.  The reason it works for weight loss is because of a nutrient that is in the rind of the fruit known as Hydroxycitric acid (HCA). Garcinia Cambogia also

Supports appetite management –
helps manage healthy eating. Supports healthy serotonin levels.
• Helps balance stress hormones.
• Contains 60% HCA.
• Supports healthy cholesterol and triglyceride levels.
• Supports digestive function.
• Contains calcium and potassium to help with metabolism.
.
fruitI also looked up Hawthorn Berry since I do not see much about it, yet I know it is very good for the heart, and our daughter who has had three open heart surgeries has taken it.  There was also great information here as well, confirming why we had her take it (and reminding me she probably should still be on it!!)
Just like we should know information about the prescriptions and over-the-counter medications we take, the same goes for vitamins, herbs and other items that are considered, natural.  Know what they do and how they work and what adverse reactions to watch for.
