Thankful Thursday

t’s been an exciting few days as our daughter & son-in-law just closed on their first home on Tuesday and have moved in.

I have been so thankful to see my kids (including my daughter-in-law and other son-in-law) helping for many long hours yesterday, including going up and down numerous flights of stairs to move everything out of their apartment, to put it into rooms in their new home. And then, the girls working hard on painting the living room and peeling some wallpaper. There’s been some disappointments, to discover some of the wallpaper is actually wall boards that were glued up, yet willingness from the kids to work together to help them out. Today one of the girls helped with laundry and putting things away and moving some more furniture where it goes. AND it was real nice to hear that my son-in-law liked the meal I made for them – and even told my daughter that I am a good cook! 🙂 I am extremely thankful for ALL these kids I’ve been so blessed with – including the three by marriage.
