Beauty . . .
From Gypsy Mama: To write down beauty everywhere we found it in ourselves- laundry folded in love, beds made, dinners cooked, lattes picked up for the husband at Starbucks. The red high heels, the swimsuit that shows off the wonder that your body has delivered, the family legacy of freckles. Even the tired eyes from being up all night with sick kids.
We agreed to write it down – write down the only definition of beauty that matters:
I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
Psalm 139:14.Want to take five minutes with me and share what you found?
Want to just write without worrying if it’s just right or not.

BEAUTY
sitting in our local Coffee House and
suddenly hearing our four year old son singing in the bathroom
at the top of his lungs,
“He is worthy to praise”
BEAUTY
one sister making breakfast for her twin sister’s birthday
and another making an additional birthday cake for them
BEAUTY
Reconnecting with a childhood friend after 30 years
and receiving encouragement:
“You’ve come along way kid. Always knew u would.“
BEAUTY
Our four year old asking at 2 am . . . 4 am and maybe again at 6 am
“Can I cuddle with you mama?”
Despite the lack of sleep some nights, I will miss this some day.
I am savoring it.
BEAUTY
a Godly elderly widowed woman opening her home
for a bi-weekly Bible study
sharing her heart, even her struggles and encouraging
BEAUTY
all “eleven” children home (includes my new daughter-in-love)
plus two additional boyfriends
and listening to them all talk, laugh and share together.
swells my heart
BEAUTY
One thing have I asked of the LORD,
that will I seek after:
that I may dwell in the house of the LORD
all the days of my life,
to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD
and to inquire in His temple.
